SAVE THE DATE for our Ritmos & Raíces: Athens Dance Weekender on August 22-24!

In order to bring nationally and internationally renowned professional Latin dancers/teachers to UGA and connect with the Athens dance community, we are planning a 3-day event in collaboration with the UGA Department of Dance and the Hugh Hodgson School of Music that will consist of social dancing, performances, and dance workshops led by well-known professional dancers such as Duane Wrenn of Energetic Soul Dance & Fitness (Detroit, MI), Julian Mejía of SALSAtlanta (Atlanta, GA), Nicole Fisichella and Joseph Cornejo of Crown Zouk (Charlotte, NC), and professional dance competitor and salsa caleña instructor Bryan Rodriguez (Greenville, SC).
